How to install lamp on ubuntu for newbies

LAMP STANDs FOR LINUX,APACHE,MySQL and PHP.

    in this post i am writing about installation of lamp on ubuntu using very easy steps those any newbie in ubuntu can install follow and donw with sucessful installation on ubuntu…..
    here is the tutorial:-
    INSTALLING APACHE

#open terminal in ubuntu and type the following command:

sudo apt-get insatll apache2

it will ask you the password of the current user type your password and and hit “enter”.apache installation will start.

    INSTALLATION OF PHP

#typ eth efollowing commands

sudo apt-get install php5 libapache2-mod-php5

#now to restart the apache webserver after installation of php type the following comand

sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

    INSTALLATION OF MySQL

#TYPE FOLLOWING COMMANDS IN TERMINAL

sudo apt-get install mysql-server

while installing it will ask you to choose password for mysql root user choose your password and and hit “space” button instead of enter.

#now restart apache using following command

sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

#this above tutorial will install LAMP on your ubuntu or linux machine.

    while installing lamp sever i am facing the problem written below:
    E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock – open (11: Resource temporarily unavailable)
    E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another process using it?
